To enroll at dawson:

Kindergarten students must be five years old on or before September 1 of the current school year.

All students new to Austin Independent School District must provide a valid birth certificate, a current record of immunizations, the child's last report card, proof of address (rental contract or utility bill with valid address), parent photo identification or driver's license and the child's social security card (optional).

Parents can register students using the on-line tool available from the AISD Cloud found at https://my.austinisd.org

This process will help save parents and guardians valuable time and allows the parent or guardian to better manage the information the district has on file for their student.

Out of District Transfer

You don't have to live in Austin to learn in Austin! Students who live outside Austin ISD are also eligible to apply to attend Dawson. Please visit the out of district transfer pages of the Austin ISD website for more information.
